Thanks in advance. I would recommend that you dedicate a drill chuck for the mill and use the standard R8 to Jacobs shank. You will be much happier than you would "sharing" a drill chuck between lathe and milling machine. I agree with Harry. A dedicated R-8 mount would be much less hassle than an adapter.
